In-the-mirror photos, no less. I’m so happy with this sweater!

I’m feeling good about knitting sweaters right now. Thermal is just about up to the armholes (maybe?), and I bought yarn to start Teva Durham’s Bias Fair Isle Sweater (ravelry link). Before I really get started on it I’m going to re-read Eunny Jang’s fabulous steeking chronicles – I think crochet steeks are the way to go. It’s rather unlikely that I would knit this much fair isle back and forth. I’ve decided to knit the hem in the round starting with a provisional cast on and extra stitches for the steek, cut the steek, then graft the cast on edge to the other side.
Here’s my most excellent swatch. I’m pretty thrilled with it.

That looks beautiful! I love the color (I have a weakness for aqua) and the fit on you is perfect. Way to go!
