Yarn!

Sadness beyond sadness…my local yarn store is closing. I’m in twice a week (once for community stitch night, once to work), so it’s going to be a huge change for me once the store is gone. My one consolation is all the cheap yarn I’ve been getting. My most recent purchase was 19 balls of Mission Falls 1824 Wool. I had one in my stash from a previous project, so I thought 19 more would round it out nicely. This yarn is for a vest for my mom, and I *accidentally* bought enough extra for a sweater for me.

Next is my hat of death for Hat Attack! I finished it on Saturday, but the post office is closed on Sunday, so I’m going to mail it today. Very exciting.

    The hat looks nice! I treminds me of ice cream (chocolate, strawberry, mint chocolate…don’t know what the purple is, maybe blueberry) – it must be lunchtime!

    Mm yeah blueberry ice cream..hehe. It does have a certain strawberry-shortcakish feel.
